Living the magical lifestyle is essential to switching ‘ON’ your autopilot for instant manifestation. Nourishing our bodies with the right foods and drinks directly impacts our overall performance in the big game of life. While this article is not an argument for proper nutrition, it emphasizes the vital magnetism that manifests differently in various elements. For instance, the vitality from vril may be present in a rock, but it is inadvisable to attempt to eat a rock. Therefore, our attention must turn to food, drink, and overall diet. This article points to some well-documented realizations about vril and diet, along with my personal discoveries and some psionics insights.

Quantifying Energy

Vril is said to be a vital force that exists everywhere but is absorbed in different ways depending on the material through which it is stored. Air, for instance, has the most vril energy in it, followed by water. After this, certain minerals and animals have vril in varying degrees. These degrees do not need to overly concern us, but rather we should understand the proper use of vril for the well-being of the body in general.

While it has been written that some foods store greater intensity of vril, I have found that the overall health of my body depends on what my body tells me. We have to learn to listen and pay attention to our performance on any given day to see the effects of food and drink. For instance, William Atkinson wrote that beefsteak is high in vril power. However, I’ve found that I will be hungry after eating steak, as if I had not eaten. My body prefers lighter white meats to red meats. When I switched from hamburger to turkey burgers, I found that I was less fatigued and no longer felt bloated and unable to go back to work after eating a meal. In contrast, I would feel incredibly weighed down and unable to focus on my work after eating quantities of beef, burger, and dairy products. Milk is said to contain a high degree of vril. However, outside of a small dash of milk for my coffee, I don’t drink it regularly, if at all. During the hottest summer, I might bite into a small slice of cheddar cheese to curb hunger in the heat. But that’s really all the dairy I need. Throughout the rest of the year, I do not need to eat cheese, such as in the autumn and winter, and the spring—only during the summer’s hottest months do I eat it. A number of veggies goes a long way—but again, too much of the greens would leave me feeling bloated.

It is really more important to understand how you feel after eating and observe your performance after meals. Are you very tired after eating? Do you feel light or heavy? Does your brain simply go to sleep? If so, perhaps you’re eating foods your body doesn’t need, or you are eating too much food at one sitting. There is also a final possibility that you are not chewing your food enough. One of the keys to the absorption of vril is to masticate the food and not swallow until the flavor is completely gone. The same goes for fluids. When drinking water, I hold some in my mouth for a spell and then swallow. The nerve endings of the mouth and tongue absorb vril that is necessary for the overall functioning of your body, your brain, and ultimately the vril you will work with in magick.

The best kinds of meals are ones you cook at home and enjoy making. The spirit of preparing meals with family or a spouse can extend the energy that is consumed and enjoyed with the meal. Sharing food with your pets spreads this rune-like joyful energy and keeps the family unit intact on a harmonious frequency.

Some meals are more romantic than others. If you’re looking to cast a spell of enchantment, take your significant other to an Italian restaurant. Another food I’ve found works well in a romantic relationship is breaded oysters, shoyu sautéed mushrooms, and steamed rice. Park a crisp garden salad next to your plates and light some candles to ignite that magical meal with intimate cravings and memorable conversation.
